Hi there
As the founder of Peewees I wish to personally thank all of our clients and share my reasons for our restructuring.
23 years ago I escaped from London & working in the largest hairdressing company in the world as Artistic Director.
I was attracted to Brighton with its bohemian vibe & Peewees was born! A tiny first floor salon in Duke Street Brighton.

It was never my intention to have more than one salon, certainly not 7! We just somehow organically grew! Its generally been loadsa fun, loadsa stress & loadsa learning but rewarding.
However sometimes in life, an event, a moment, a happening can suddenly change your life, purpose & your perspective on life.

January 4^th 2008 my baby daughter Imogen came into the world, a beautiful happy healthy baby. Then Jan 11^th she was taken seriously ill. She was dying in fact her pulse stopped in the ambulance. The paramedics kept her alive…angels! We were met by a team of 8 doctors & nurses, they worked miracles, she needed emergency surgery…four & a half hours of it, then 3 weeks sedated in the intensive care unit at the Trevor Manns special baby unit & then a further 3 weeks recovering at the Brighton children’s hospital. Then on August 13^th 08 she had her final operation & eventually one week before Christmas her surgeon discharged her. My partner & I will be eternally grateful to all the incredible people that contributed to saving Imogen’s life.
The whole experience has to be the most frightening & harrowing I have ever gone through. It has taught me many lessons & changed my perspective on life. Things I thought were important to me, no longer are & many things I just took for granted are now I realize very important to me.

I am lucky to have 3 beautiful children & a fantastic partner that I love very much. I am now 50 yrs old. I was 27 when I started Peewees. It is time for change. I wish & need to spend more time with my family, & do family things! Time is the most precious gift we have. We all share the same 24 hours, it’s the choices & decisions we make on how we use those 24 hours that make the difference.
So I have decided to scale Peewees down, I have achieved all I wanted to achieve out of hairdesigning. I have traveled the world, demonstrated my brand of hairdesigning on 3 continents, had my work featured in many magazines….however its now time for change.
Peewees will continue to operate but with fewer salons & will still produce our unique brand of fun top quality hair designing.

From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank every client that has visited us…I really appreciate your custom………..& to my personal clients, well I am the luckiest hairdresser in the world…I have to have the best ever clientele……thank you so much!

All levels from assistants up to managers regularly receive training and appraisals in all aspects of our trade. We will spend time with you helping you to make the right decision about your hair, we will give you advice, inspiration and ideas. We may even, in some cases have to advise you against having a particular service. Please understand that if this is the case, it is because we care and hope to develop a long term relationship with you. Short term gains are never our intention. If we do disappoint you in any way, please tell us. At the end of the day, whilst we pride ourselves on our service and hair design skills, we are only human and acknowledge that very occasionally we may let you down, we guarantee that we will always do our utmost to rectify the situation.

…or Coffee, Hot chocolate, Earl Grey, Herb Teas, Fruit Cordials are all served totally free of charge. We have considered serving you with a little tray, silver teapot and paper napkin. However, you’ve told us you prefer a decent sized mug to a midget size cup, so who are we to argue! What you want is what you get!

Takeaway Peewees

Take your hair designer home with you! Please help us to help you. Protect the investment you have made with us by taking the advice of your hair designer. He or she will recommend the correct home haircare programme for you. This is the next best thing to taking your designer home with you! Seriously though, surely you would not throw your most expensive, best loved items of clothing into the hot wash or not bother to put oil in the engine of your car would you? So, get the best out of your hair and use the programme we recommend.

Very young Peewees

We realise that even the very young wish to look good as well as their parents. So to help the pocket money go a little further, we have a special scale of discounts for our younger visitors (see price list for details).

Peewees weddings

To ensure your wedding day goes as smoothly as possible, we can provide you with your very own personal Peewees hair designer inyour own home. Why have the stress of getting to and from our salon on your big day, relax, have your champagne breakfast and bath all at leisure. We will arrive when you request us to and ensure you look great for your important day. We can even provide a makeup artist if you wish. As the song says “Don’t worry, Be happy”!

Peewees prices

At Peewees we allow you to decide how much you wish to invest in your haircut. Our prices are structured by status in our organisation. Whatever your budget is, there will be a price and skill to match your needs. You can even come along as a “Peewees model” on one of our training sessions if you need to keep costs to a minimum!

Regular Peewees

As a special ‘thank-you’ to our more regular visitors, we have a special discount scheme. So if you would like to benefit - ask about our Peewees Passports and save “Loadsa Dosh!”

Student Peewees

Students, we appreciate a year’s grant doesn’t go far these days. Yet looking and feeling good is most important! Don’t worry - help is at hand. All full time students receive a massive 25% discount off any hairdressing service in our salons, not bad eh! (10% on Fridays & Saturdays).

Peewees men

Over a third of our clients are men. So if your partner is in need of a general overhaul, wheel him in, sit back and watch in amazement -“We have the technology”.

Peewees ageless zone

Peewees is about having fun whilst experiencing designer hairdressing. Everyone from toddlers right up to the grandparents are welcome. Uncles, aunts, daughters, mothers, grandads - everyone is invited. “It’s only rock & roll!”

Late night Peewees

For your convenience our salons have late evening appointments available. Usually the boss isn’t around, so it’s party time! & it saves you giving up a saturday for your hair - aren’t we nice!
